This week on Backstage Atlanta Scott’s guest is Steve Young. An American singer, songwriter and guitarist Young is best known for his hit song “Seven Bridges Road”. He is an unsung pioneer of the Americana, Country Rock and Alt Country sounds. Steve Young was also a vital force behind the outlaw movement, writing songs recorded by Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams JR. and many more. A native of Newnan Georgia, Young has lived in South Alabama for many years. Young’s hits include Waylon Jennings’ “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean”, Hank William Jr.’s “Montgomery in the Rain”, and The Eagles’ “Seven Bridges Road”.
