Pop Culture King

Entertainment journalist Jon Waterhouse gives listeners a blast of pop culture each week with “The Pop Culture King Show.” The self-proclaimed nerd and fan boy celebrates a little of everything underneath the pop culture umbrella, from movies and music to comic books and television. Waterhouse, a regular contributor to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper, picks a topic and weaves in celebrity interviews, fun and funky stories and related music. Wacky and cheerfully irreverent.
Past guests include Gene Simmons of Kiss, actress Dakota Fanning, comedy team Cheech & Chong, Police drummer Stewart Copeland, Atlanta superhero Danger Woman and a whole world of pop culture icons.
“The Pop Culture King Show” airs 8 p.m. Fridays with an encore at 10 a.m. Saturdays.
