Margaret Atwood
Margaret Atwood one of the most celebrated, successful, and prolific authors writing today. Her books – which now count more than 40 total and range across fiction, poetry, and children’s book – have been short-listed for the Booker Prize Five times. She would ultimately win the award in 2000 for her novel, the Blind Assassin. Some of her other notable titles include The Handmaid’s Tale, Cat’s Eye, The Robber Bride, and, most recently, the two companion dystopian works Oryx and Crake and The Year of the Flood. Beginning this Sunday and continuing through Tuesday, Atwood will be in Atlanta delivering the Ellmann lectures at Emory.
