It seems only fitting that as the weather gets nicer in Atlanta and around the country that the staff of Paste do their Spring Has Sprung episode. This episode features some of the great new music releases coming this spring. In addition, as they do with every episode, the staff takes a look back at Issue 29 featuring Norah Jones on the Cover and featuring the song The Picture by Son Volt from the Paste sampler CD included with every issue.
Episode 28 – The Best of 2006

Because Issue 28 of Paste Magazine highlighted their Best of 2006, the staff takes a look back at their choices to decide if they still feel the same about their picks. Artists included in their Best of 2006 issue include The Long Winters, Gomez, Cat Power and TV on the Radio.
Episode 27 – Looking Forward to SXSW

Nick Purdy and Josh Jackson look forward to their trip to Austin for the SXSW Music Festival (aka Spring Break for the Music Industry). As with each episode, the show begins by looking back at their December 2006 issue (Issue 27), which features Christopher Guest and the cast of For Your Consideration as well as Manchester Orchestra from their Sampler #27.

Episode 25 – Cayamo

As the crew of Paste Magazine looks forward to their time at sea doing hardcore music journalism on the Cayamo cruise, they are nice enough to bring the cruise to the listener. Cayamo is an Americana-leaning music festival at sea now in its third year. Some of the artists featured on the Cayamo cruise in 2010 not only includes Americana giants like Emmylou Harris, John Hiatt and Lyle Lovett, but also emerging names like Lissie and Brandi Carlisle. This episode starts off with a flashback to Paste Magazine Issue 25′s Sampler CD with Hymn’s “Not California.”
