The first show of 2011 finds Jon chatting with Merritt David Janes, one of the stars of the stage musical “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” which runs January 12-16 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Janes plays the part of Lumiere the singing candle in the production. And in honor of the special Blu-ray release of the Martin Scorsese classic “Raging Bull,” Jon plays clips from the film and interview segments with Scorsese and star Robert De Niro. This week’s music features songs by the Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel and tracks from the film version of “Beauty and the Beast.”
